The area where the Nazca lines are located has 500 km 2 where there are hundreds of figures and
thousands of lines and trapezoids. Some of them are: The Whale, Trapezoid, The Astronaut, Monkey, Dog, Hummingbird, Condor, Spider,
Bird Fragata, The Parrot, The Tree and The Hands. Some of the figures reach more than 300 meters and most can only be appreciated from the air. Who were they made for, if mostly al of them could only be seen from the sky?

Nazca Lines Itinerary
We will pick you up from your hotel or bus station and our archaeological tour will take us through the world famous South Panamerican highway starting from Nazca to the north, we will admire the desert landscape and stop at a natural viewpoint, from where we will see lines and trapezoids that converge towards this same mountain. Later we will visit the Maria Recihe Museum, where we will learn about the hard work that this spectacular woman dedicated to the study, preservation and dissemination of the Nazca lines.
Next stop will be the Palpa Tower, from here we will se 5 more figures! , this figures according archeologist belonge to the Paracas Culture, those figure are know as the paracas Family and some others relate it to the God Astronauts.
In the final part we will visit the metallic viewpoint and we will see the figures of the hands, the tree and the lizard. (To see the material with which they were made, to listen to the history from a local guide is to carry a unique memory of one of the most interesting places in the world). Admired and with information still in process, we will return to the city of Nazca and drop you off at your hotel or somewhere in the city. About Nazca Lines Viewing Tower
This brief halt (in a rather surreal location in the middle of a desert) and the entrance to the viewing tower are included pass passing through Nazca. You can see the basic shapes of three of the Nazca figures from the tower’s 13-meter (43-foot) altitude.
This is a lot more up-close and personal approach to witness the lines, albeit your shots won’t be as amazing as when you board the plane. Additionally, our tour will enlighten you about the fascinating background of the ancient Nazca society and the prevailing hypotheses behind these enigmatic Lines.
